On Friday, October 23rd, seven artists/groups will rotate through our APPLE classrooms, doing "Art in Action". Each artist's demo will be 10 minutes long followed by a 5 minute transition, so artists can gather up their supplies and/or move, and students can stretch and wiggle as needed.
We will need parents in the classrooms (teachers will not be present) to supervise and assist as needed.
We will also need parents to assist our artists with set-up, moving supplies, and transitions.
(FYI, students will be in Reading Buddy classrooms, so signing up for your child's class does not guarantee you will be with her/him.)
We will need a couple of "runners" too. Tim Dubbels, our potter, will be stationary. He will be down in the basement hallway outside the bathrooms. Because of this, we will need a couple of parents ("runners") to help move classes to and from these stations.
All Volunteers, please plan to be at Franklin by 12:30 pm. Due to our numbers, we will find somewhere other than the Core Room to meet. I'll keep you posted.
